Happy to receive an emergency appointment after complaining on here. Only to be so disappointed AGAIN after arriving 30 minutes late for admission time 8:30am (given the fact that surgery 1st was at 1pm 2nd surgery at 2pm) due to taxi availability during peak hour and slow traffic via the Birkenhead tunnel but did inform them that I am going to be late. Once again my pets were unable to be admitted because of an ‘emergency’ I sat for 1 hr waiting to be admitted counting 10 consultation rooms! My dogs became restless and very stressed in the waiting room full of other unhappy patients. I decided to return home due to the stressful situation my dogs were in. Dogs don’t understand if there’s an ‘emergency’ situation. My pets we’re struggling to keep calm after 1 hour. I was told the vet was still in an emergency situation and that no other vet was available to admit my dogs. What constitutes as an emergency situation? That lasts more than 1 hour? 10 rooms No vets? Oxymoron policy
