Ellesmere Port- absolutely shocking beyond words the treatment my dog received here, if it wasn’t for me refusing to allow her to stay there any longer she would have ended up dead Easter bank holiday Monday our 12 month old frenchbulldog was admitted hadn’t eaten in 48 hrs hadn’t drank in 24hrs Being sick, blood diarrhea, very lethargic, non responsive Initial cost was £495 plus £75 bank holiday fee (no problem)she was kept in over night for observation fluids and antibiotics as an infection was found on her intestines. Tuesday morning- no better/no worse- removed from antibiotics as not needed(she’d been on them only 12hours) Tuesday afternoon phone call - we need to send more bloods and poo sample to an outside lab extra £400 Wednesday morning 7:45am phone call . No worse/no better we need to keep her for another night (£345) Went to visit our puppy completely off her face on medication, still being sick, still not eating still not drinking (she was now fitted with a feeding tube) Vet didn’t come to see us, wouldn’t come to see us, kept relying messages to her nurse to pass to us Still no diagnosis, still no explanation on there plan still no list of the medication she was on,Just kept getting told it’s a process these things take time Evening update- no worse/no better Thursday morning 9:15am update No worse/No better still being sick, still having severe diarrhoea we’ll need to keep her another night can you pay the night fee £345…. NO NO NO you won’t I want my dog and I want her home No improvement No diagnosis No list of medication And explain to me how they know at 9AM my dog is going to make NO improvement by 9PM and they already now she needs to stay in another day???? I got the diagnosis, list of medication in this phone call Aswell as being told my dog is very sick and will more than likely need to be re admitted because I couldn’t give the medication she needed at home so she’ll be sent home with her feeding tube still in 😳 left with £200 of medication (all of which is in actual fact NOT needed and is in the bin) My dog was taken straight from this dump to another vet In ONE HOUR and 20MINS my dog had been assessed, operated on and was in recovery The reason she was still being sick even after they were pumping her full of two different anti sickness drugs was because you were overdosing her on extremely high opiate’s, the same reason she wouldn’t eat!! 24 hours after being treated by another vets she’s eating, drinking and home ;in fact she was actually eating 6 hours after she left your dump and was home 10 hours after going to the other vets with a vet bill of LESS than what you charge for a 1 night stay Not ONE phone call from yous to see if she’s even alive let alone ok- for all you know she could be dead if it was left to you she would be who removes treatment of antibiotics when an infection is clearly noted in blood samples You swooped her antibiotics for unnecessary extremely high doses of opiates My dog didn’t need to be overdosed for 3 days on extremely strong opiate’s/ double dosed on anti sickness medication, feeding tubesWhat she needed was antibiotics something she was only given for 12 hours and I was told on numerous occasions she didn’t need!!! Every single Vet that looked at/treated my dog from Tuesday morning onwards will be held accountable for stress/worry and financial lose you’ve caused my family and my dog £1900 in 3 days all completely un needed! Purposely drugging my dog for your own financial gain This review is just the beginning I have already emailed my complaint and my solicitor is also sending yourselves and your CEO my letter. Thankfully for me not taking your lame excuses any longer my dog will make a full recovery You need closing down and I will make it my mission to ensure this happens I am not the 1st person you’ve done this too only sadly some of there animals diedI will not go away and nor will I stop until someone takes responsibility for this!!
