Took my dog to The Animal Trust Failsworth and was told he needed an x-ray. The vet said it would be £300, I went to reception to book him in and they also said £300. I didn't have the full amount when booking so paid £50 and would pay the balance (£250) when he has x-ray. When I went to pick him up after x-ray receptionist asks for £289 ! I explained I had been told the full amount was £300 and I didn't think I had enough in my account, she wasn't interested and made me feel like some kind of criminal. So apparently they say one price but charge you more after treatment has been done so you have no option but pay up.
