Hi everyone,I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with the repeated poor service I’ve received from An Post. Unfortunately, this is now the second time I’ve had major delivery issues with them.The first incident involved a parcel from Rituals, which was returned to the sender without any delivery attempt and without leaving a notice. I live alone in a newly built apartment complex (€2,500/month) that includes full concierge and postal services, meaning there is always staff available to receive parcels. Despite this, no delivery attempt was made, and I only discovered the parcel had been returned when I contacted the retailer myself.The second issue concerns an Amazon order, which has been stuck at An Post’s central depot for almost two weeks. Again, there’s been no delivery attempt and no communication.When I reached out to customer support, I received a generic, unhelpful response claiming “address mismatch” or “delivery could not be completed.” This is completely unacceptable — my address is correct, my name is registered, and my building has a professional reception team and secure parcel lockers. There is simply no valid reason for these repeated failures.At this point, it’s clear that delivery staff are not making proper delivery attempts, and customer support is doing nothing to resolve the issue.I strongly urge An Post to review their delivery procedures and ensure that customers ...especially those living in buildings with full reception services ...are not continuously let down in this way.Extremely disappointed and hoping for accountability and improvement.
