We recommend using Revolut to continue.09:35This is neither very helpfull nor good work. Never Use AnPost Money for money transfer, this is truely a scam.Additional Information as requested by AnPost and TrustPilot:I sold some objects on DoneDeal. After just a few moments of publishing the advertisement I got a response. The response stated a question about the final amount and that the money will be paid ahead of collection of the items. I provided my response and later got the information and a link to AnPost Money transfer. I followed the link, entered my bank-details as requested (Credit Union) and got the answer that the account couldn't be verified. I tried again with my second account by AIB and got the same response. Then I contacted the Help desk from AnPost as shown on the webpage and got the responses shown above, pushing me to open an account with Revolut. Now I don't open a new account with a bank that I dont know just to transfer the sum of 130 Euros. I told the person on the helpdesk (a lady) that I wouldn't do that, and wrote this as well to the potential byer. After the potential byer insisted that I should open a Revolut account as well, and I declined several times, the byer with a postcode in Athlone, told me to read carefully and in a later message per WhatsApp that I shouldn't go on her nerves. This then led me to ask her to cancel the payment as I will sell the articles to somebody else. This I did in the meantime. I can only state that I will, after this experience, never use Revolut and AnPost for money-matters. I hope this are sufficient information to satisfy AnPost as well as Trustpilot, otherwise I will be willing to take a call.Response by AnPost:...I am contacting You in relation to your recent Trustpilot Review. I have investigated this and confirm the message you received when selling items on DoneDeal is part of a scam which is currently ongoing....AnPost would not ask you to disclose sensitive personal details or communicate with you in this way, nor do we affiliate with Revolut. For more information on how to stay scam aware, please visit: anpost SecurityAs a result I have changed the title of this review and updated it with an extract of the mail I received from AnPost. Please be aware of this ongoing scam.
