Posted an urgent package on Monday 1st September in Dublin to go to Kerry. Paid €14 for Express. Assured it would arrive next day. It didn’t. Nor on Wednesday, nor Thursday. Arrived on Friday 5th. That’s FIVE days for a package within Ireland. And it’s not Christmas.Meantime when I went to the PO to try to find it was told that the tracking number was essentially worthless as they had no idea where in the system it was. If it’s important to you to get it there in a reasonable time DO NOT use An Post is my advice. Find another option. And final point - trying to find anyone who would explain, answer, apologise - pretty near impossible.
