After reaching out to the service, our contact was a representative. We accepted a quote and discussed the pickup details, which were set for Friday, 5th December. The company involved was another entity. Then issues began; the representative contacted us to say the goods needed to be collected on Tuesday, 2nd December. I expressed that this was much earlier than we had planned, and I felt pressured into agreeing to the Tuesday date under the threat of losing the collection. We had already paid a deposit of 288.00€. During this conversation, storage was never mentioned. We did not hear from the company until the following Monday, after I reached out for updates. The driver later informed us that collection would be at 12:00 noon, but then changed it multiple times, finally arriving at 21:05 hours, which is unacceptable. Not only was this late, but only one person showed up when our contract clearly stated two were needed. My partner, who has health issues, had to assist with loading, which is not acceptable. The driver also stated the delivery would be on Wednesday, 3rd December, while the contract indicated it would be between Tuesday, 9th, and Thursday, 11th December. I spent the following days trying to reach the representative, who was rude and unhelpful, incorrectly claiming we requested storage for our goods. He twisted the contract details and blamed us for miscommunication. We received no emails explaining the situation. After returning on Monday, 8th December, my partner was told the goods would arrive the next day, yet we ended up paying extra for storage that we never arranged. When my partner called the driver for confirmation, he was told delivery would now be on Wednesday or Thursday. Again, no specific day or time was provided. I sent an email to both the representative and the driver stating that if the goods were not delivered by Thursday, 11th December, I would report them as stolen. As of 13:30 hours on Wednesday, 10th December, there has been no contact from either party, leaving us with less than 24 hours for delivery. Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience, and we feel let down.
