ANZ worst bank for New Zealand. I have an account with ANZ bank and I was maintaining the account for 2.8 years with the bank. I have kept some term deposits into the Bank account and since my mum was not well so i requested a small loan amount of 6000 dollars. The personal banker Kevin Arise who access my loan details told me since I was offshore we would need a letter from your employer stating you are back to NZ and my base salary is this much. I told you don't trust me. You have my deposits with you which is far more than the loan amount. I simply told them I will not give you any letter. He said we will not proceed with the loan. I told i will close the account which I will be doing the needful by next month. Hence doing the needful as per request. When Bank don't trust us there is no need to keep any funds and relation with the bank Hence I will be closing the account next month as my term deposit is about to be matured next month. Worst Bank of New Zealand is ANZ. I have approached ASB Bank and I got my Loan approved in 1 day without any letter stated from the employer.
