I purchased two of these bikes for my kids. Both worked fine on the first ride, but when I tried to charge them afterward, one battery would not charge at all.
I troubleshot the issue myself by swapping the batteries between the bikes. The bike worked perfectly with the other battery, which confirmed the issue was 100% a defective battery.
I contacted the company and sent them photos and videos explaining the problem. After going back and forth, they finally agreed the battery was defective and told me they would send a replacement.
That was over a month ago.
Since then I have sent multiple messages asking for an update and have received no response at all. The company has completely ghosted me after acknowledging their defective product.
Now I’m stuck with a $500 bike that my child cannot use, and replacement batteries for this model are not readily available anywhere else.
At this point, I will be exploring consumer protection options, including filing a chargeback and submitting complaints with consumer review platforms, because a company should stand behind its product and honor what it promises to customers.
