I purchased the NextGen Red Light Therapy Hat from ApeBorn Fitness hoping it would help with hair/scalp health. Unfortunately, the unit I received was defective and unsafe.
Customer service was initially slow and unhelpful—delayed replies, ignored details, and offers like replacement or gift card reimbursement instead of proper refund/shipping support. This prolonged the frustration.
Thankfully, the Head of Customer Success reached out directly, apologised, and processed a full refund very quickly. I really appreciate them taking my feedback seriously and resolving it promptly.
While the original experience was distressing and should never have happened, I’m grateful for the fair outcome.
