Do not use apex if there is a chance your international flight to Nz is delayed. 23rd Dec not only was the apex branch closed early they did not arrange after hours collection at fliway which is normal procedure . Apparently they don’t monitor flight arrivals and if your 30 mins late they don’t care and don’t give you access to your booking , phones are off no response . I was stranded in Auckland with two young kids with no solution or contact point with them, the best day they didn’t apologise , and it was my fault for not telling them I was 30 mins late . Totally unacceptable.I followed up on the 28th of Dec with apex management and they told me it was my fault and completely acceptable in their opinion that people are left stranded or have to find accommodation at an extra expense for the night and to collect the car when they open the next day. Also told me that three other people had the same issue as me on that day and seemed ignorant to the fact people are paying hundreds of dollars for other options or hotels all because they do not actively manage flight delays . do not use @Apexcarrentals, very poor customer service.
