Disappointing rental service experience

Initially, the rental vehicle had issues; midway through, the driver's window became stuck and was unusable. Additionally, the key fob's battery was weak, making it difficult to start the car even with the key inside. When I arrived at the service location for a replacement vehicle, the staff member assisting us was slow and indifferent. She did not communicate effectively or clearly, leaving us confused about what would happen next. Initially, she mentioned checking with the mechanics regarding the window issue and later informed us that a car replacement was necessary. However, she then left without providing any updates or information about the next steps. Upon her return, she prioritized other customers while we waited for over an hour. It seemed she had just returned from her lunch break, while we remained hungry and anxious for the replacement vehicle. In total, we waited for more than an hour, and her demeanor and level of service were utterly unacceptable, which is surprising given the service's reputation for top customer service in the area for 2024. I am completely disheartened and disappointed by this experience, especially since no apology was offered.

When she returned, she attended to other customers while we waited for over an hour. Apparently, she had just come back from lunch, while we remained hungry and anxious for the replacement vehicle. Altogether, we waited for more than an hour, and her attitude and service were completely unacceptable, especially given the service's reputation for top customer service in the area for 2024. I am utterly disheartened and frustrated by this experience, particularly since no apology was offered.

Unpleasant pick-up experience, avoid if possible

The pick-up process was terrible. The cars were located 20 minutes away from the terminal, and only one shuttle was operational. Despite having booked online, the pick-up took 45 minutes, totaling over an hour. The costs for a short hire skyrocketed once they mentioned a high excess for any damages and the lack of roadside assistance. While dropping off was quick, getting back to the airport was another hassle. I would recommend avoiding this service.

Overpriced refueling costs

The service charges double the pump price when refueling your vehicle after a rental. It seems to be mentioned in the fine print, but I have yet to see where. I was charged $260 for a fill that should have cost $143. This feels like extortion and is hidden in the small print. I would advise avoiding this service entirely.

Outstanding service

The process was straightforward with clear instructions, excellent communication, and friendly staff. This service is the only one offering zero excess without requiring a bond payment. The car, airport shuttle, and customer service were all exceptional—completely hassle-free. I highly recommend this company.

Decent price, but service needs improvement

The price was good, but the service was lacking. We arrived early, and the car wasn't ready, which was acceptable. The paperwork was completed quickly upon our return. We paid for ski racks but noticed they had a bungy cord securing them. We chose to take the car as we had other commitments, but when we returned to ask about the bungy cord, we were told it was standard in the area. Given that we’ve always had lockable ski racks, the staff's response was disappointing. She mentioned being busy and doubted she had another car available, but would check if we waited. We ended up leaving after being ignored for a while. There was no apology or offer to refund the ski rack costs. The car was older than previous rentals and lacked power. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Very disappointing experience

We rented a vehicle for a 10-day family trip, expecting a smooth experience. However, on the third day, we were informed that snow chains could not be fitted, despite our plans to travel through snowy areas. With no alternatives offered, we had to downgrade to a much smaller vehicle, which made our trip uncomfortable. We had to discard belongings just to fit into the smaller car. Later, we learned that snow chains could have been used on the larger vehicle, meaning we were misinformed. To make matters worse, despite multiple emails, our request for a refund has gone unanswered for over two weeks. This has been an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional experience. I would strongly advise others to reconsider booking with this service, especially families planning mountain trips.

Effortless pick-up and return

I picked up my rental vehicle and received all the necessary information about the agreement. The staff was serious and trustworthy. Returning the car was a breeze, taking only about three minutes for the inspection. I was quickly on my way with the shuttle bus. Very smooth and easy process for a week-long rental at a reasonable price.
