I have bought several coins from Apmex, and Ive been satisfied with them. Usually I get good service and for all other orders I would do 4 or 5 stars.
However Ive tried to contact them regarding the "crucifixion nail" I bought. No response. Ive also tried to write two reviews so no one else would buy one, they never post my review. Crucifixion nails were 5-7 inches long. They had to be that long to get through the flesh and into the wood of the cross. They are selling "1st century roman crucifixion nails" that are 1-2 inches long. It is literally impossible that this type of nail would be able to go through someone's foot/hand and be nailed into the wood. Very sad to see them selling something so blatantly fake (maybe its a real nail dated to that time but it is certainly NOT a "crucifixion" nail). I feel for anyone looking for a piece of history or a religious symbol just to be mislead.
