I purchased the Ewa Learn app and I’m extremely disappointed. The subscription only gives access to a handful of beginner‑level books and exercises. There is no way to choose books from other levels without being redirected to additional payments. The app does not make it clear that the yearly subscription covers only very limited beginner content, and that accessing intermediate books or browsing categories requires paying almost the same amount again on a monthly basis. It feels misleading and like a waste of money.
Learning with the Ewa application is really fun, according to the good rule of "school through play". But if it were possible to add to your dictionary words that I have not encountered before in various exercises and I cannot find them in the dictionary and I would like to practice them. I signed up for EWA to improve my English, but the app simply didn’t work and I couldn’t log in even once. Despite that, I was charged for multiple months without receiving any real service.
Customer support existed, but instead of actually fixing the issue they kept sending me back to do things on my own and waste hours trying to solve it myself. Instead of a learning experience I got frustration, wasted time, and wasted money.
For me this was a very disappointing and exhausting experience. Think twice before signing up and be very careful where you put your credit card details.
A great app for anyone who truly wants to improve their language skills! I purchased a one-year premium subscription during a 90% discount campaign. However, I later discovered that conversation lessons with the AI tutor required an additional fee. Since this was the main reason for my purchase, I requested a cancellation.
While the bot support was not very helpful, the customer support team via email responded very quickly and handled my request professionally. Although I am currently waiting for the refund to be reflected on my credit card statement (which may take 5–10 business days), the refund has already been approved.
During the short time I used the service, I found the novel-reading feature to be enjoyable. Overall, thanks to the prompt and reliable customer support, I feel this is a service that can be trusted.
I regret to say that the app is entirely unusable. After purchasing a 3-month premium subscription, new lessons ceased loading after about 4 weeks, and the app kept looping the same completed lesson.
I reached out to customer support, but the communication was frustrating and ineffective. It felt like I was only interacting with a chatbot that couldn't grasp the issue. After roughly 14 days of challenging exchanges, I was informed that new lessons would be available once created. After that, support went silent on my inquiries.
Another 4 weeks went by without any updates. I resigned myself to the fact that I likely wouldn’t receive a refund. I uninstalled the app and blocked any further payments from my bank to avoid automatic subscription renewal.
I cannot recommend this app at all. The paid service was non-functional, and customer support was lacking.
