My vulnerable and elderly friend, of 80 years was persuaded to enter into a 3 year agreement with ApplianceServe in August 2015 by telling her that it was already providing cover for her when it was being provided by another company with a similar sounding name. Having only recently discovered it and although half way through the plan she wanted to cancel, accepting that there may be a cancellation fee and a pro rata refund. Apparently not with this company - according to them they have the right to cancel but their 'customers' don't! This, coupled with the poor customer service and their unprofessional and unhelpful call staff.I have spoken to other appliance plan providers and have to say this company is the worst and their terms are unreasonable. Similar to previous entries - shame on them for targeting vulnerable people and being unhelpful. They don't deserve to be in business.
