Our ON-GOING experience with ARC Legal Assistance in relation to our "solar install" legal expenses claim (ARC ref 91041/012997) has been extremely poor and STILL ON GOING.
This claim has been with ARC since 25 October 2025, yet despite months passing, it still has not properly progressed to panel solicitors. We have experienced repeated delay, repeated non-answers, and repeated references back to “underwriting”, without any clear and file-specific explanation of what is actually preventing progress.
This is not simply a minor dispute about the original installation price. The claim concerns a domestic solar and battery installation at my home, including ongoing issues relating to design, installation, safety, and wider continuing impact. In my view, ARC have repeatedly tried to reduce the matter to a narrow cost issue, while failing to address the full seriousness of the position.
We have also been concerned by ARC’s references to a non-existent lease and by the lack of clear answers to important questions for long periods of time. They also make constant threats about stated use of AI ?.
After all this time, after some 5 months, the file still appears to remain in limbo. Based on our experience, We cannot recommend ARC Legal Assistance.
