Not once but twice I placed an order. On each day on which delivery was expected I received a message that the item was 'out for delivery'. On expiry of each delivery slot I contacted Argos to be told that the item had not been in stock. In that case, I wonder how it could have been 'out for delivery'? Eventually (and only after I requested compensation for my wasted time and the inaccurate messages from Argos) I was sent a £10 voucher. I'd much rather have been told from the start that the item was unavailable. Both times.
