Poor service.

I would like to provide feedback regarding my experience at the Argos [Merriland Dagenham] on [30th Nov] at [13.59]. I was served by a staff member named Anika while returning a Hoover that had a suction fault. I had the receipt, and the product qualified for an exchange, which she processed. However, the level of customer service I received was very disappointing.During the return, Anika asked me to clean the Hoover by emptying the dust outside the store. I found this request inappropriate and unprofessional. I explained that I did not want to create a mess outside, especially as there was no bin available, and doing so in view of other customers could negatively reflect on Argos. I politely asked for a bin to dispose of the remaining debris properly, but the situation was not handled with courtesy.Although the exchange was completed, the overall interaction felt unhelpful and lacked basic customer care. She would not even smile. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that service standards can be improved. A smile does not cost .
