I order large appliances for people and some choose appliances through Argos. 9/10 they do not deliver on the date agreed stating the person wasn’t in when we have ensured they are. I feel sure this is some sort of scam - promising to deliver on a certain date to convince you to order through their website thinking it will come earlier. The website never updates after a failed delivery so it will still show as due on the specified date even if 5 days have passed. When you ring customer services you just get told to wait until they can re deliver. I probably wouldn’t have noticed if I didn’t order items for large numbers of people so they get away with it. Shocking service, awful website and customer services outsourced that read from a script.
