If it were possible to give zero stars

If it were possible to give zero stars, I would. We ordered a white wardrobe online but for some reason Argos delivered a grey one. Several unbearable chat conversations and automated phone calls later, we were told we could get a refund and order a new one - despite the fact we had ordered the correct colour and this would now leave us £350 down while we await a refund. We eventually managed to negotiate a collection and replacement. We were also offered a compensation payment of £30 - which unsurprisingly never materialised. Imagine our surprise today when we open up the box of the replacement wardrobe to find another grey wardrobe! They had replaced the exact same incorrect item. Once again we are forced to suffer through aggravating automated chat systems to be told once again, we need to request a refund and re-order, despite this being Argos’ fault entirely. We again had to negotiate, and are now eagerly awaiting our correct WHITE wardrobe, but best believe we aren’t holding our breath. It’s now been about 3 weeks since we originally ordered the wardrobe. Completely ridiculous. Argos used to be cheap and cheerful, now it’s just cheap. A complete headache all round and wish we hadn’t bothered. Couldn’t recommend less.
