I would give no stars is i could. Bought a 3 seater sofa and two armchairs in October. Within a week the 3 seater cushions all misshaped and wood popping out of arms. I called argos and they agreed a replacement. On day of collection and delivery of replacement had to argue with driver as they said they can only take cushions as didnt have room in van for sofa! I said they had bought one to deliver so surely they had room to take the faulty one? After much arguing they took it. Week later same problem re cushions and arms with the replacement. So I asked for a full refund and collection of the 3 seater and arm chairs as they were a set and I had paid good money for them. As my purchaee was still within 30 days they agreed and arranged collection for today, i took time off work to wait for the collection. Today the collection driver arrives and says they only have the chair down for collection. Clearly I was not happy but not the drivers fault. Some smart jobs worth calls me from argos saying they only had request to collect the armchair. That they will collect the rest on friday! I was told that i had to them call argos customer service to make sure they will do so. I have called and they have said they will but i won't hold my breath. I now have to take another day off work. They offered £30 compensation but said to get this i have to call back on friday once collection goes through to complain again before they can pay the compensation! Total madness. I will never buy from Argos again.
