Stock Levels not updated for 72 hours

I ordered and paid for an item and Argos cancelled the order a few days ago, but I still haven’t been refunded. The item came back into stock today and I placed and paid for this item on a new order. They have now cancelled this order. They now owe me for 2 items. When I spoke to customer services they told me stock levels are not updated for 72 hours, so they will continue to take orders during this time. This must be for all products and cannot be correct. I would recommend ordering from other suppliers who update stock levels in realtime.
