I ordered a Bluetooth speaker for £99.95 on December 18th as a Christmas gift. When I arrived to collect it on the 22nd, it was not available. I was told it might have been returned. They assured me it would arrive before Christmas, but if not, I would get an automatic refund by the 27th. This was pointless as it was meant for Christmas. After a frustrating chat with an automated system and an online assistant who couldn't help, I called the helpline, where I was told to drive 40 miles to another store and pay again. I requested a refund, but was told I had to wait until the 27th. Now it’s December 31st, and I’ve had no updates or refund. After persistent follow-ups, I was finally told I would get a refund in 48 hours. Had I not pursued this, I doubt I would have received anything. Overall, the customer service was dreadful and inconsistent.
