A £4.40 journey turned into a £14.30 charge because I switched my payment method from cash to a digital wallet while booking my return trip. I received a notification that my driver had arrived, but by the time I got outside, I was informed that the ride was canceled and I had to rebook. In the end, my card was charged twice for the fare, plus two additional small transactions. When I finally received a response to my email, I was told the extra charges were for waiting time and a cancellation fee, despite clearly stating that I didn’t cancel. I’m done with this and have deleted the app, opting for a different service in the future.
