I recently placed my first order with ARKET (Order #61748851) and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.
Instead of receiving the item I ordered, I received a completely incorrect item. The package only contained a shirt and another piece of fabric that I did not order.
Because I was travelling, my family had already forwarded the parcel from Sydney to China, and I only discovered the mistake after receiving it there. I immediately contacted ARKET customer service.
While the team responded politely, the only solution offered was for me to arrange and prepay international shipping from China to the Netherlands in order to receive a refund, even though the mistake was clearly made during ARKET’s fulfilment process.
This creates unnecessary inconvenience and complexity for the customer, especially when the incorrect item was sent due to a warehouse error.
I expected a much more reasonable solution from a global brand such as ARKET. Unfortunately, this experience has been extremely frustrating, particularly as it was my first purchase from the brand.
I hope ARKET can review this case again and provide a fair and customer-friendly resolution.
