Caution advised!!!! This service was recommended by a retailer to replace a 40-gallon natural gas water heater. The technician quoted me $1,900, which was twice the cost of the water heater itself priced at $629. My water heater only needed the pilot reignited and is now functioning well. The pricing is outrageous and it's disappointing that the retailer suggested this service.
