For quite a few years I had used ML in Argentina without issues.Some days ago I attempted to buy a vaccum cleaner. They drove me mad with endless verifications, slowed down by their obvious technical flaws: it took half an hour for the site to verify my face.Despite all this, they immediately started calling me by a male name. I am female and had had that account for many years with my name, the same one on the photo ID documents I had to upload front and back, matching the photo they finally took of my face and the same one on the card I used to pay.There is no way to argue this, because unlike bigger operators like Amazon there is NO WAY to contact them -´-not by email, not by phone, not completing a form. You are sent back to their same deficient robotic system.By the time I managed to go ahead with my purchase the product was out of stock, so I had to cancel the transaction and added guarantee.This was BEFORE the the money left my account.However, even AFTER I GOT CONFIRMATION OF CANCELLATION, the money left my account and apparently it is going to be refunded within more than one month.Today I got a ¨no reply¨ email with the bill for the extended guarantee I cancelled three days ago. This is not just inefficiency, it is fraud, and they would not be able to operate in a country with better customer protection than Argentina.As someone else said, it used to be a useful site. Not any more. Be warned.
