Perfection for Artisan!

Artisan delivered the kind of service that you would think you could only dream of! First of all Artisan is worthy of praise for their level of communication. Rob kept in regular contact by phone keeping me updated about the expected commencement dates for the work, (I use the word 'dates' because the weather has been so abominable that delays were unavoidable). At the soonest opportunity the team: Aidan, Sam and Brad came and started the work. Aidan talked to me about the work that he, Sam and Brad were going to do each day one day at a time, he also spoke to me each evening after they had finished for the day about what would be happening the following day. They always arrived when expected.They were totally committed to their work and doing a top quality job. They worked extremely hard all day, every day. The job was done from start to finish in 7 days.My roof which has five extensions attached to the original one is a complex one and so there was a lot of work involved.The complete roof was power washed. They removed all the loose mortar and repointed everything requiring it, fixed all flashing that was not sealing joins effectively, fitted dry ridge tiles to all ridges and dry verge tiles to every edge of all roof sections. Where there were broken slates they replaced each one. When they identified a roof section where the tiles were quite literally crumbling they talked through the problem with me and explained what extra work/ remedial work was necessary. They showed me the physical evidence of this issue which gave me the absolute confidence that the problem was legitimate and the work was essential. Aidan worked swiftly to obtain the extra materials needed for the roof replacement. He promptly ordered all the extra materials required and had them supplied and delivered to my address within and in less than 24 hours so there was no time wasted waiting around for deliveries. That is truly impressive! The crumbling roof was replaced and treatments were applied to all roof sections. All the facias, soffits and gutters were cleaned. The finished job is just fantastic and it looks really good too. The work has been completed and is top quality, brilliant standard.Every day they cleaned up all around the areas they had worked in that day, waste was put in the skip immediately, the driveway was swept each evening after they had finished working around that area, they cleaned external doors and windows when they had become mucky from the work done that day, they also hose washed areas where general work related waste had scattered on the ground. Aidan, Sam and Brad paid attention to every detail of their work. Every day they cleaned and tidied up. They always had an awareness of the garden and other items around them being very careful of all this as they worked. Their thought, respect and consideration was faultless and impressive as was their standard of work. Their communication was excellent and they were always very polite and really friendly. A very happy and cheerful team, with lots of smiles! I can't thank the team enough for their superb professionalism, work, and customer care, Second to none.
