I live in a very attractive cream rendered bungalow, but the roof was quite discoloured.I was a bit wary when Ollie knocked on my door extolling the virtues of Artisan. However, I was willing to get a quote and then wait to read more reviews of this newly founded company. The surveyor came round and it was not difficult to see that he was very genuine and straightforward. Anyway, I said that I’d wait and see if any other local properties had been treated by Artisan. My first impression when I saw a nearby house was that this property had simply had a new roof installed and it was only when I saw Artisan’s sign that I realised that their workmanship was as good as they claimed.So I agreed to have the work done and to explain the complexity of the job, my bungalow has 14 roofs and over 20 ridges! That was quite a challenge and it probably took longer than expected. I was careful to check that the ridges were properly regrouted where necessary and that both the gutters and fascias were cleaned. I also enjoyed watching the rain beading off the tiles.There was no mess left and now I have roofs that enhance the bungalow.Friendly contractors and one of the directors popped around on a few occasions to check on the progress, which I felt was a nice touch.Artisan are not cheap, but if you want quality workmanship, then it’s worth paying for.
