We purchased an annual Max Pro subscription from Artlist in October 2025 specifically because their plan advertised “AI Videos – Veo 3” and the included 120,000 monthly credits made it possible to generate roughly 400 AI videos per month. This capability was a key factor in our decision to subscribe and structure part of our production workflow around their platform.

However, after subscribing, Artlist significantly increased the credit cost required to generate AI videos. As a result, the same subscription that previously allowed around 400 videos per month now allows fewer than 100 videos with the exact same 120,000 credits.

In practice, this means the effective value of the subscription has been reduced by roughly 75% during the active annual contract period.

What is particularly concerning is that the service was clearly marketed with “AI Videos – Veo 3” as a core feature when we subscribed. We have screenshots of the original plan description that influenced our purchasing decision.

When we contacted support to resolve the issue, we received a generic response stating that changes are allowed under their Terms and Conditions, without addressing the fact that the actual production capacity of the plan has been drastically reduced.

For businesses that rely on predictable production capacity, this type of change is extremely problematic. We subscribed based on a certain level of AI video generation capability, and that capability no longer exists under the same plan.

We are currently requesting a fair solution such as restoring the original generation capacity, providing equivalent credits, or allowing cancellation with a proportional refund.

Until this situation is resolved, we cannot recommend Artlist to other creators or companies relying on AI video generation.
