Review Time
I purchased the AI Suite plan because the pricing page clearly displayed:
16,500 credits – ~103 videos / ~1650 images / ~3 hours of voiceovers
This representation strongly influenced my decision to subscribe.
However, after generating just one image, approximately 300 credits were deducted immediately. When you calculate it:
16,500 ÷ 300 = 55 images
That means under real usage conditions, the total output is nowhere near the advertised ~1650 images.
When I contacted support immediately (after generating only one image) to cancel and request a refund, they refused. Later, they introduced a completely different explanation claiming the plan provides “up to 550 images,” which was not clearly disclosed at the time of purchase and contradicts the earlier ~1650 figure.
So now there are three different numbers:
~1650 images (advertised at purchase)
Up to 550 images (claimed later by support)
~55 images (based on actual credit usage)
This is extremely confusing and feels misleading.
Even though I contacted them immediately after minimal usage, they denied the refund and simply disabled auto-renewal instead of resolving the issue.
The platform itself may work, but the credit transparency and refund handling are very disappointing. If you're considering this plan, carefully review how credits are actually consumed before purchasing.
I’ve had a genuinely positive experience using both Artgrid and Artlist, and you're become essential tools in my creative workflow.
Artgrid for me, stands out for the exceptional cinematic quality of its footage. The clips feel thoughtfully curated, and the collections are often structured in a way that makes storytelling much easier.
Literally, the unlimited download model provides excellent value, especially for creators. It allows creative freedom without constantly worrying about licensing limitations. The licensing itself is clear and straightforward, which is critical when working on commercial or client-based projects.
I am currently undergoing a very stressful and long email with someone called Alli.
Long story short, I’ve noticed that I was being charged the same monthly plan after downgrading it.
They play with your time, the plans prices is not clear and misleading when you go to your profile on your website.
Their business model seems to exploit customers that are busy to keep up with price changes, the charges and the long email exchanges.
I’ve even received an email saying “as we haven’t heard from you, we will close this case” WHILE I WAS STILL WAITING FOR THEM TO RESPOND. JOKE.
I’ve emailed back now asking for a phone number, it’s embarrassing how difficult they make things for people to give up and leave them alone.
This was a genuinely good stock music site. It allowed productions to find music that was fresh and unique, compared to the usual stock websites. It always featured new artists and even had some good curations, that helped find stuff easier. But now... when I log in, I'm slapped in the face by insufferable AI generators. I can't even find the music section... This company has thrown its ethics out the window and no longer represents the artists. What is my incentive to pay for a license, if they are actively using genAI that is riddled with stolen data? Very disappointed in Artlist, chasing trends and throwing it's own reputation and artists under the bus.
Artlist.io are thieves, plain and simple.
They advertise a $19.99 plan with 16,500 credits, claiming you can generate up to 1,650 images.
This is completely false.
In reality:
generating one single image costs around 400 credits (sometimes more),
which means you can generate around 40 images total, not 1,650.
They take your money based on false expectations and hide the real cost until after you’ve paid.
That’s not transparency — that’s stealing through misleading pricing.
When I realized this scam and asked for a refund, they refused.
The subscription is also automatically renewed, without clear and explicit consent during checkout.
This is not a mistake.
This is a deliberate system designed to take people’s money while delivering a fraction of what is advertised.
Just look at Trustpilot: dozens of people report the exact same thing.
If you value your money, stay away from Artlist.io.
You can't use anything you create with them unless you keep paying a monthly subscription. IOW they threaten copyright infringement if you don't keep your subscription They lie to you saying you have to buy more credits when you have lots left. If you like any of Sora's platforms they rarely work. Their Kling platforms waste your time pumping out prompts you didn't ask for.
At first I was really happy with the service. Then they introduce AI and the platform became AI bombardment. its lost its core essence and pushes the human creators who made the songs, sfx and stock clips to the bottom of the pile the first interaction is AI. It irritates me if I could find a licensing software like Artlist and Epidemic that didn't shove AI VO, Ai Video, Ai image gen down my throat I would jump off immediately. The AI credits are also overpriced compared to other dedicated AI providers. Overall if you want AI and + Music, this is good if not then run.
This app is heavily censored! I cannot recommend it for anyone looking to create content without restrictions. It alters your videos according to its own preferences, regardless of how specific your instructions are. It's too pricey to have your creative freedom limited and your expression censored.
I had a fantastic experience with the support team. I mistakenly chose the wrong subscription, and they responded promptly and fairly with a solution. The product itself is impressive, and the video creation options are superior to what I've encountered on other platforms.
They keep charging me even after I canceled, which is completely wrong. I advise against using this service as they misrepresent their trial basis. I canceled on the first day, and my accountant informed me that I was billed for over five months due to their slow and unreliable system. The home screen frequently freezes, making it frustrating to use. There's no phone support, and their email responses are inadequate. They keep insisting I needed to cancel within 14 days, but I had already canceled on day one. When my account flagged the charge, I reached out, but received the same unhelpful response. It’s astonishing how this company operates.
