Our Jack Russell Terrier, Sophie, suffered a vaginal prolapse during a normal game of tug-of-war. We were absolutely stunned and immediately called our vet, who recommended we take her to emergency care. It was around 4 pm on a Friday, and a friend mentioned Animal Surgical Center, so I called and explained our situation. They told us to come over, and we met with Dr. Infernuso around 6 pm.By Monday morning at 6 am, we dropped Sophie off for surgery. Sophie has anxiety, and I always worry about how she’ll handle things. The staff was incredibly kind, and Dr. Infernuso personally kept me updated throughout the process. They texted us pictures of Sophie before and after surgery, which brought me so much relief. The staff took wonderful care of her.Dr. Infernuso and his team turned a stressful situation into a positive experience. Not even 10 days later, Sophie was back to her playful self. I can’t thank ASC enough—they deserve all the stars!
