I bought a CX-30 from an online dealer and had a 3 week return window. There were several issues with the car and I asked to return it, however they asked if I would be happy if the issues were dealt with by a main dealer and paid for by them, I agreed to this. The dealer made me an appointment to bring my car into Mazda Ashford Orbital. 1/ I arrived on the given day only to find that the Main Dealer had never heard of me (when I phoned the original dealer they had a recording of them arranging the appointment). 2/ Ashford Mazda agreed to sort the issues out and also sort out a recall that had not been done by the previous owner. The car was duly returned and while I can only assume that the recall work was done, the other issues were not (FYI the issues are a known fault with the wing mirrors not deploying and the stop/start not working). 3/ took the car back into Ashford Mazda a few days later and they promised to have another look but now needed to get a wiring loom in which would take about a week. Over 2 weeks later I phoned Ashford Mazda to ask what was happening only to be told I'll ring you back. 4/ Two days later I rang again only to be told the guy you need to speak to will ring you back. That was now nearly 4 hours ago! This is the most appalling customer service I've had in a very long time. Clearly Mazda cars are not fit for purpose and their dealers are worse! I am now well outside the 3 week return window, with a car I have come to hate and a main dealer whose competence is in serious question.
