Although the responsible party acknowledged liability within one to two months following the accident, it has taken over a year to resolve the claim. I submitted personal loss receipts on 4 occasions as they were lost or not passed between parties. I was contacted for an initial medical assessment within 1–2 months of the accident, submitted all required information, and then heard nothing for 10 months. Being asked to attend a medical examination 12 months after the accident is bizarre.
