I have relied on this brand's shoes for over a decade, particularly valuing their supportive structure for flat feet. I bought a model earlier this year that was inspired by an older version I had great success with. I was pleased to find it on sale for $90 (originally $130) and looked forward to the support it promised, especially after being let down by newer styles. Regrettably, after only six months of regular walking, both heels ripped and the foam began to come out. I filed a warranty claim with clear photos and size comparisons, but the company denied it. Initially, they attributed the damage to improper fit. After I clarified that the fit was snug based on their sizing chart, they suggested it was due to how I tie or untie the shoes, which felt dismissive. I've never encountered this kind of heel damage with any of their products or others. Typically, I wear shoes until the soles wear out, not the insides tearing apart. I've treated this pair just like all my previous ones. For the company to sell a shoe at this price that can't withstand normal use and then shift the blame onto the customer is very disappointing. No replacement, no credit, no accountability. This experience has caused me to reconsider my long-standing loyalty. I hope sharing this helps others understand what to expect regarding quality and warranty support.
