I ordered my shoes on Thursday and they arrived the next day in the morning.
I couldn't believe it!
I had worn through the sole of my old shoes and desperately needed a new pair!
Thankyou Asics, delivered to my front door step as specified!
I have relied on this brand's shoes for over a decade, particularly valuing their supportive structure for flat feet. I bought a model earlier this year that was inspired by an older version I had great success with. I was pleased to find it on sale for $90 (originally $130) and looked forward to the support it promised, especially after being let down by newer styles. Regrettably, after only six months of regular walking, both heels ripped and the foam began to come out. I filed a warranty claim with clear photos and size comparisons, but the company denied it. Initially, they attributed the damage to improper fit. After I clarified that the fit was snug based on their sizing chart, they suggested it was due to how I tie or untie the shoes, which felt dismissive. I've never encountered this kind of heel damage with any of their products or others. Typically, I wear shoes until the soles wear out, not the insides tearing apart. I've treated this pair just like all my previous ones. For the company to sell a shoe at this price that can't withstand normal use and then shift the blame onto the customer is very disappointing. No replacement, no credit, no accountability. This experience has caused me to reconsider my long-standing loyalty. I hope sharing this helps others understand what to expect regarding quality and warranty support.
I’ve worn ASICS shoes for over 10 years and have always trusted the brand for their supportive structure — especially for someone with flat feet. I purchased the GT-2160 earlier this year because it was modeled after the older GT line from the early 2010s, which worked really well for me. I got the shoe on sale for $90 (retail $130), and I was genuinely excited to return to a more supportive ASICS model after finding the newer styles too soft for my needs.Unfortunately, within just six months of regular walking use, both heels tore open and the foam started falling out. I submitted a warranty claim with detailed photos, sizing info, and a comparison to another ASICS pair I had bought just a month earlier (same size, same wear — no damage). ASICS denied the claim.First, they said the damage was due to improper fit. Then, after I explained that the fit was snug (and based on their own sizing chart), they said the damage was likely from how I tie or untie the shoes — which I found disappointing and dismissive. I have never had this kind of heel damage on any ASICS pair or any other brand. I usually wear shoes until the soles wear down, never the inside tearing apart.I’ve treated this pair like every ASICS I’ve worn before. For ASICS to sell a shoe at this price point that cannot hold up to normal walking — and then shift the blame onto the customer — is deeply disappointing. No replacement, no credit, no accountability.ASICS has lost a long-time customer over this. I’m sharing this so others know what to expect if they have an issue with quality or warranty support.
Beware of their shoe quality and warranty policy, it is an absolute scam. I bought a pair of NOVABLAST4 with a coupon and the sole started pulling off in under a month. I was issued a “replacement” voucher that did not cover the cost of any similar shoe model. After a week of back and forth, I was told I would have to pay the $50 difference to replace the unwearable defective shoes. Don’t trust the “replace the product at no cost to the customer”. They have no regard for fairness to the customer, and do not stand by their product quality.
i placed order 1st time and should have received a 10% discount, i push send before i put in code, called company immediately and was told they would not give me the discount. worst customer service i ever experienced, im a senior citizen and every dollar counts. Spoke to supervisor and told tough luck, totally unacceptable, do not order from them poor customer service. Leeanne
I have been an ASICS customer for many years. I ordered a jacket that do not fit and returned it. They claimed I didn’t sent it even though I have FedEx tracking showing that I sent it. Despite trying to work with them, I was told by the supervisor Kaleb C that he was the highest authority and would not authorize any return since they don’t have record of receiving it. Unfortunately, it is my word against their warehouse. Their warehouse has been shown to be faulty on multiple occasions but now I am out $175 without a jacket. Seems very unfair.
Been buying asics for a long time, at least 20 pairs over the years, some still new in box but lately quality conspiciously deteriorates, asics moving on the nike-adidas trajectory. Got me a new kayano 20 in banana cream, came with a stained sole and a very obvious cut-dent on the outer tiger stripes, that shoe should have never left the factory especially so as it is retail priced at 190€. Gel Lyte 3s still were quality shoes but some of the fancy cushioned new shoes are not living up to the usual high standard in regards to material and fitting, asics stop the adolescent more and bigger bubbles competition and bring back more subtle, timeless and better fitting models with DURABLE SOLES
The problem is that no matter how you explain your bad experience with asics Canada and their bad customer service no body can sue them and they don’t give a dam shit about what is your review for this reason since no body is suing them I don’t think that they will ever ameliorate their behave and care for these reviews For that I will try to explain my experience with them On mid June 2025 I bought the latest nimbus 27 black from asics canada online directly and use it less then 4 months wearing it maximum twice a week for almost 30mn each time and possible once a week. To my surprised after looking the shoes that is still almost new I found a small tear in the front of it. Contacting the customer service I can’t tell you the struggle I faced from their tons of emails asking every time the same questions and the usual one about bills proof picture etc. After more then 10 emails they claimed that they can’t cover it because they consider that the tears is from normal use missing that it might be a default in fabric quality since its impossible to have this small tears in less then 4months of use from this simple miles on it. I can’t tell you the frustration I had from unprofessional customer services reply, and each time from a different replied person , But what can I do, since already the decision is taken and usually when they focus on not covering it they don’t see anything else. I tried to be nice and asked for a special discount on my next purchases since after all i didn’t find the money when I bought the first nimbus from them and specially when I was going to get a Hoka but someone told me go to get the Nimbus that is a very good running shoes and good company and that their reputation is so good To end in even refusing this small gesture of apology from them. Really, I’m not just surprised from this behave but very chocked to see it’s coming from a big company like asics. When a small store in the corner of a street would minimum behaved better and treated you with more respect I am really not only humiliated by their customers services and decisions but I hope that every one else take a lesson from my bad experience and I hope also that the money I paid for the shoes, someone in the company will pay it on his health since the money they earned from me is not blessed and from fraud stuff bad quality they sold it to me. The problem after saying that is will anyone on earth that have balls or at least a powerful men who can sue this behave from a scammed company like asics who does not homer their warranty claimRegards Peter M.
