Do not do business with this company! I was in the hospital for just under 31 days - a month - broken hip. Oh wow. I just found out something. ASJMREYE used to be rated F with the Better Business Bureau. Now their rating has slipped below that. From the Better Business Bureau website:"ASJMREYE is NOT a BBB Accredited Business.To become accredited, a business must agree to BBB Standards for Trust and pass BBB's vetting process."My son bought me a lift chair for my safety in April 2023. I am a fall risk and break bones in falls - i.e., hip, ribs, wrist, both collarbones, foot, head injuries, and more (complications of my neck being broken twice). It was delivered promptly in mid-may 2023. It worked great until 2024. When I tried to lower it, it would not go down. The transformer burned out. I contacted ASJMREYE. It took almost three months to get the transformer. My caregiver hooked it up. I am unable to bend down. Within 10 minutes, we smelled something burning. The line the transformer was plugged into got so hot, it could have burned my house down. Sparks were flying from it. Rather than replace my chair, the company sent a remote - 3 months later! The massage and heat stopped working in April 2024 before the transformer went out. They did not answer that email or request for a new chair. I told them again after the remote made the chair kind of work. Their answer? The heat and massage are only guaranteed for a year. They had ignored my first email. The remote makes the chair work sometimes. Sometimes, it is stuck with the legs up and sometimes they fall. I've requested replacement for over a year now. These people lie! Go figure! They said their home office is in CA. I found out it is in China. I turned them into the Better Business Bureau (who can do nothing but give ratings), and to the Board of Consumer Affairs. I am about to turn them into the Federal Trade Commission, and the Federal Attorney General as well as our President who is giving sanctions to companies such as this one. To top it off, the chair got stuck again. I had to get up. I needed it to lift. It didn't work. I fell. I broke my hip. They still refuse to answer my emails. Now I'm on a walker - not fun. Do NOT purchase anything from them.
