I recently joined AskVet as part of a promotion offered through DoggieLawn, and I'm so glad I did. As a first-time pet parent of a Cavalier puppy, I needed all the support I could find. I've used the instant vet chat function several times, and I've found the vets to be very knowledgeable and helpful. They even recommended an emergency visit when my puppy ate gravel, which was a relief.One of the best things about AskVet is the access to behaviorists and trainers. I've been working with Karen for several weeks now on a customized training plan, and it's been wonderful. She has been a great source of support during this journey, and her advice is both rational and easy to implement. The AskVet app is also great because Karen can load customized training/behavior checklists right in the app for me to review. She has also recommended some great pet supplies/training/enrichment aids that have helped us tremendously.It's such a great deal to have on-call vets and behaviorists/training specialists right on the app. I have also contacted Karen outside of our weekly chats for help when behavior issues arise (such as nipping/biting), and she has been prompt, supportive, and helpful in her responses.Overall, I highly recommend AskVet to anyone who wants easy access to expert advice on their pets' health and behavior. The app is user-friendly, and the staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.
