I joined AskVet as part of a two month promotion offered through DoggieLawn. I'm a first time pet-parent of a Cavalier puppy and needed all the support I could find! I've used the instant vet chat function several times. The vets who I interacted with have been really knowledgeable and gave great guidance. They even recommended an emergency visit when the puppy ate gravel - which was really appreciated.Another awesome part of AskVet is the access to behaviorists and trainers. I've been working with Karen for several weeks now on a customized training plan and it's been more than wonderful. She has been such a source of support during this journey, and her advice is rational, and easy to implement. The AskVet app is great, in that she can load customized training/behavior checklists right in the app for me to review. Karen has also recommended great pet supplies/training/enrichment aids which have helped us tremendously.It's such a great deal to have on-call vets and behaviorists/training specialists right on the app. I have also contacted Karen outside of our weekly chats for help when behavior issues arise (such as nipping/biting) and she has been prompt, supportive, and helpful in her responses.
