I really really really had a bad experience at Aspen dental located on Ireland Road in South Bend Indiana. That dentist from India came in and tried to reprimand me just because I didn’t answer my phone. He made the comment saying be nice and answer your phone when we call demanding me. I was already in the chair with stuff in my mouth. The dental assistance was in the room and he came in and spoke to me like a child and said things that I did not like. I am a very calm person, and I feel like people should not even go to that dentist. We need to put them out of business and send them back home. In my opinion I was very disrespected. He kicked me out of the dentist office when I was in the chair and made the comment that he’s not gonna work on my mouth because I’d belittled him. I told him that I could not answer the phone because I’ll be driving my car all day and my appointment was in the afternoon. That’s the reason why I made it for a late afternoon. I am a very nice calm person but this dentist and I don’t know his name if I did, I would mention it to him but the dentist office on Ireland Road in Southland next to Walmart. People need to cancel their appointments because they speak to people the wrong way he walked out of the room saying I’m not gonna do his my mouth in my Insurance was accepted. I’m glad but he needs to be put out of business or fired. They lost money and I’m very upset and this is my response. I give them a zero star Rating and thank you for letting me put this rating on here and I hope everybody reads it and what I’m saying is the truth they have a bad attitude in that office and I see that they only got a two star rating on your website and I know why anyway thank you very much for listening to me.
My hygienist was very nice and very patient with me. That very important to me because I get very very nervous went i go to the dentist. Everyone did a great job with making me feel comfortable.
They charge you excessively for services. You might believe you've settled your bill, only to receive another request for additional payment. They refer to themselves as "affordable" dentistry, but it seems they inflate charges for one group to benefit another.
This was the most frustrating dental appointment I've ever experienced. I scheduled a visit for a teeth cleaning, only to be informed that there wouldn't be enough time. I've dealt with gum disease my entire life and usually invest in regular cleanings every three months. I was quoted a steep price for the cleaning and informed I needed a crown. The dentist was quite aggressive with my tooth, and the hygienist was also very rough. Without insurance, they declined to provide a standard cleaning. It was a terrible experience.
I visited to repair a broken tooth and was told I needed a crown instead of a root canal. They cleaned my teeth, took X-rays, and recommended a deep cleaning before placing the crown. However, three months later, my mouth is still sore, and my gums are swollen and painful when food gets stuck. After they placed the crown, some sealant was left between my back molar and the crown, making it difficult to floss. Eventually, I managed to remove it. I spent $3600 on the cleaning and crown, with the crown costing $1300. Today, I received an additional bill for $610. This service is overpriced and provides inadequate care. In my 75 years, I've never experienced anything like this with a dental provider. I've always had strong teeth, and this has been the worst experience I could have imagined.
I underwent four extractions today with sutures and experienced severe pain once the anesthesia wore off. Even after taking 800mg of Ibuprofen, the pain was unbearable. I contacted the office for assistance, and although they promised to speak with the doctor, I never received a callback. After waiting for two hours and making multiple calls, I couldn't get through. I also tried their emergency after-hours number, but there was no response. I'm still in intense pain and may have to visit an emergency room. This experience has only deepened my apprehension about dental care. I eventually reached out to their Patient Services Portal and discovered that prescriptions were sent in, but I was never informed, leaving me in agony for several hours. EDIT - 12/29/2025 My extractions were on 12/18/2025. The healing denture fits so poorly that I still can't wear it. I haven't eaten solid food for 11 days except for mashed potatoes. When I went in today, they informed me they wouldn't assist me further. Given that I've already paid for the entire procedure, this situation is utterly unacceptable. It seems I won't be able to eat normally until 2026. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.
I had an appointment today at the local office, and before they extracted six teeth, I specifically asked if I would receive proper pain medication due to the expected intense pain. The dentist assured me I would. I even mentioned I might need to reschedule if pain relief wasn’t available, and again, I received confirmation. However, after the extractions, I was informed that the other dentist in the same office wouldn’t prescribe any pain medication either, casting doubt on the initial promises made. This has left me feeling frustrated and I will not return to this service.
Appointment was today at the Niagara Falls Boulevard office. I asked BEFORE they pulled 6 teeth if I was going to get real painkillers because I knew I was going to be in excruciating pain. And a real dentist would know this, too. She told me yes. I said I'll need to change my appointment if you won't prescribe pain meds. Again, she said yes. After the teeth came out and I left the office, heading to my pharmacy, she said no. The other dentist (Dr Jeremy) that can prescribe the pain meds apparently doesn't trust her--another dentist in the same office--and also won't prescribe them. So the assurances of the dentist who pulled all these teeth, causing all this pain, mean nothing at all. I'll never step foot in an Aspen again.
I went to get teeth extracted at the one in auburn ny and the lady quoted me a price. When I went to pay the price it was different and I didn't have $$ so I had to reschedule. 2nd time I just went 1 week ago and they told me the price to remove teeth and dentures was $1500 so I came up with the $$ and now the price changed to $5000..I think they need a new receptionist cuz she is ripping off the people. Maybe it's cuz I'm Puerto Rican idk but this is not right.
