This was our first time using someone to care for our disabled child besides family. So needless to say, we were very nervous. When I reached out to her and explained our situation she was very empathetic and understanding. Amanda offered to come to our home so we could meet her and get comfortable with her, as well as meet our son to ensure she was comfortable caring for him as well.
