Ordered a personalised wallet as a Christmas present. The wallet wasn’t opened until Christmas Day as it was in a presentation box, and unfortunately it had minor damage to the front, which was really disappointing. You would expect a premium brand like Aspinal of London to have very strict quality control, especially considering the price point and reputation.
I requested a return, and while the initial delay over Christmas was understandable, the process after that was not. The wallet was returned at the end of December, but it then took numerous emails and chasers to get any update on progress. The replacement didn’t arrive until the very end of January.
The most disappointing part was the level of customer service — chaser and follow-up emails were repeatedly ignored. Overall, I was completely let down by the service, which is not what you would expect from a premium brand.
