If your gonna use Assurant you are rolling the dice . Because there's a chance u lose your deductable and not get a phone in return . So BUYER BEWARE look into other 3rd party phone dice rollers cause this one's rigged.
So phone breaks, I pay my deductable , Assurant ships me the incorrect device and not just incorrect it's the jankiest on oldest obsolete phone I the line...I have a moto stylus and the shipped me this old Razr . ..now moving on from that, I get on the website I connect with customer service agent via chat and customer service agent explains to me to take the replacement device that is incorrect place it in the return box go to the post office drop it off then come back and let an agent know that you've mailed your device and they'll send you your correct device.
So I go to the post office and the person working at the desk my package say I need this shipped they scan it and I walk out. That's 2 weeks ago .
So now assurance is telling me that I needed to get a tracking number which they never told me from the get-go and that there's nothing that they can or will do until that they can see that the tracking information shows that the device has been shipped. Well since I can't provide that info...no further action will be taken...even though I've done nothing wrong , I've done everything I was supposed to do.
Post office loses my package...I'm out my deductable , and a phone .
Thanks absolutly insane . Assurant messed up and sent me the wrong device not my fault post office loses the package not my fault but I'm the one that's out 60 bucks in a phone now and I don't even know why they want the Razr back.no body wants a busted scratched up refurbished razr.
I just feel like with the resources at their disposal that they would be able to do a little bit of legwork for the customer and try to find out what's going on with the package being that they have all the shipping information they were the one that was able to provide the tracking number to track it to see that it hasnt had any updates....not me. I just can't believe they can take my delectable and not provide a phone and that's just ok so beware at the end of the day you're rolling the dice so if you have an expensive phone you better hope and pray that the post office doesn't lose it because if they do you're screwed.
