Up to now, I would have rated the company with 5 stars, but my recent experience with customer service after returning a product has been disheartening. I received incorrect guidance (not from the company) regarding the type of decking joists I needed. When I contacted them, I was instructed to place an online order for the correct items, and they would collect the incorrect ones and issue a refund. This part went smoothly, and I paid £135 for delivery on my original order exceeding £1000. However, when the refund arrived, I noticed I was £9.50 short of what I expected. Upon calling, I learned it was due to a restocking fee in their terms and conditions, which I later confirmed. I wasn’t informed of this earlier, and it leaves me feeling quite let down, especially since I had placed a much larger order. If this had been a one-way transaction, I might have understood better. It’s unfortunate that this small amount has left a negative impression, and I won’t be recommending them to others.
