Until now, I would have given the company 5 stars, but I've been disappointed by their customer service following a product return that was agreed upon. I received incorrect advice on the type of decking joists needed, though it wasn’t from the company. After contacting them, I was instructed to place an online order for the correct items, and they would arrange to collect the incorrect ones and provide a refund. This process was smooth, and I paid £135 for delivery on my original order exceeding £1000. However, when the refund was processed, I noticed a £9.50 shortfall. Upon calling, I discovered it was due to a restocking fee outlined in their terms and conditions, which I later confirmed. I wasn’t informed of this in advance, and it leaves me feeling disappointed, especially since I placed a significantly larger order. If it had been a one-way transaction, I might have understood better. It's unfortunate that this small discrepancy has negatively impacted my overall impression, and I won't be recommending them to others.
