One star is five too many; if I knew the depth of incompetence, apathy, and unprofessionalism that covers every corner of this company like a layer of dust on outdated warehouse stock, I would of just just paid cash for an unlocked shady cell phone from a less seedy corner of the internet than where asurion resides. I’ll never get the money back that I’ve wasted paying for insurance-coverage, when asurion won’t hold up their end-of the bargain, nor the 18 hrs I’ve spent on the phone with at least fifty different expert agents my just trying to get them to send a replacement phone or fix a broken two year old device. The only thing you can take to the bank with asurion is the guarantee that every word they say the opposite will be true, and if anyone can find a way to completely screw up the simplest of tasks the experts at asurion are always up for the job. I’m not sure if they only hire people with traumatic brain injuries, lead poisoning, or those who think the bottom of the food pyramid is crayons, but I wouldn’t hire a single employee there to clean the stalls at an adult book store. Every call to customer service I’ve made I feel like I’m trying to get out of a mountain timeshare in Iran; there clearly is an incentive pay structure based around how high they the customers blood pressure gets while on the call. It’s been well over a month since I’ve made my claim and still don’t have a phone. Credit where credit is due, asurion did send me a non working replacement that I had to take an hour out of my day to drop off at ups to send back to them before they fined me, and I now forever hear the hold music in my head that interrupts every remaining peaceful moment of my life, heed my warning buy a replacement phone out of the trunk of car at your local 7 11 before you waste your money with these clowns.
