Purchased a £800 laptop for university work, had the laptop for only 5 months before the screen went completely black. The laptop would boot up and the keyboard would light up but the screen remained black. Took it back to the shop I bought it from and sent it off from repair as it’s still under warranty. A month later I’d had no news so contacted them again to be told it had severe water damage despite not having it near any liquid and as it was MY fault it was no longer under warranty and would cost to fix. I am quoted over £700 on a £800 laptop. On top of that, if I wanted them to send me my OWN laptop back it would cost £85 to return it. Appalling customer service and horrendous product quality.
