Parcel date: 4th of Feb.End date: still pending.Here is my worst experience of life with this ingenuine, dishonest, deceitful, and fabricating company. Bunch of liars which call themselves "Atlantic international couriers"! I'd advise you to use, FedEx, Royal Mail, DHL or Aramex but never use this fraudster to save your money. You will end up losing your shipment, money and health. Hi,I want someone to act on this on priority and get my issue resolved.I paid 5600 rupees in India to send a parcel containing a wedding lehenga. It's a personal item already used before. The person at the courier service did not mention any custom or tax until I made the payment. Later on she informed me that there will be custom charges as well in the receiving country.On enquiring further with her and her so called manager confirmed an approximate amount of 1 to 1.5 k egyptian pounds approximately as custom/tax. Now, they have called and asked me to pay 10,000 Egyptian pounds which is nearly 45k indian rupees. Are you kidding me? This is disgusting!I will never ever pay 10k egyptian pounds as custom. Gazala kaziXxxPlease push the consignee to contact their local FedEx team and make the payment to avoid any delay.Note: If no response received from consignee before the deadline , the shipment will be automatically returned/abandon/destroyed (depends upon destination customs) without any further notification. If my goods were damaged, when received in India I will SUE your incompetent lying company, for being a pathetic time and money waster.XxxFeb 28thHi,Based on your email below, I did visit Fedex (Maadi branch) Egypt, today around 2:30 pm and met Mr. Mustafa Mohammed. They asked me to contact the Indian courier service as it's not in their hands to deal with the customs/duty. The Courier company (Atlantic International courier) who sent the shipment to Cairo Egypt is responsible to make any negotiation with the customs duty in Egypt. So kindly stop playing games with me and contact them and return my shipment back to India because I am NOT paying 10 thousand Egyptian pounds as custom for a personal used item which is not even worth the amount quoted as custom charge. Dare you destroy my goods, I will sue your company as I did speak with the girl in charge at Atlantic courier and her Manager about the custom charges and I was informed it is gonna be a nominal rate which won't exceed 2000 Indian rupees. I do have this phone call conversation i had with her and the Manager at Atlantic International Courier company,recorded on my cell phone.Kindly return my shipment to India Mumbai, and my father will come to collect the same. Next I'll crash India's officeEnd!May 28Upon following up with Dubai FedEx and 1st flight courier services, we confirmed that it was returned 1 month ago to India, and they did not tell us! Upon claiming that to them, they replied with a screen shot,"we texted you on your India number a month ago"on Apr 22nd that you will need to pay 60-70000 INR to get it! (Lengha Costs 17,000!)I've sued them!
