I requested a return and specifically asked for the exact refund amount before shipping. Customer service confirmed in writing I would receive $506.86 based on the complete list of items I provided.
I shipped my return based on this confirmed amount. After they received my items, I only got $350.68 refunded to my credit card plus a $110 promotional code (total claimed value: $460.68) - already $46.18 short of what they confirmed.
But it's actually worse: the $110 promo code has undisclosed restrictions - it can't be stacked with other promotions on their site, which isn't mentioned anywhere in their return policy. This makes the code essentially worthless since their site always has promotions running. So the real shortfall is the full $156.18.
When I pointed out the discrepancy and requested the full confirmed amount be refunded to my credit card instead, they stopped responding to my emails entirely.
I have email proof of the $506.86 confirmation, multiple follow-up emails with no replies, and am now filing a credit card chargeback.
This isn't the first time they've ghosted me either. I previously had an issue where I selected a special offer for the Oasis Ring after checkout. When it didn't arrive and I followed up, they initially acknowledged the issue and offered to help me reorder at the special price. As soon as I accepted their offer, they stopped responding entirely. I let that go at the time.
I also want to warn potential buyers: the quality is poor. The gold jewelry looks cheap and fake - it's a bright, unnatural gold color that screams costume jewelry, not the delicate pieces shown in their photos. This is a major reason I returned so many items.
Bottom line: Don't order from Atolea. They don't honor their commitments, ghost customers when problems arise, and the product quality doesn't match what they advertise. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.
