I had shopped around all distance learning courses in regards to HR CIPD Level 5 with the following in mind:1. Flexible learning,2. To be able to finish one unit and move straight on to the next without having to wait. 3. Honesty and TransparencyI was told Avado do all of the above and paid in full and signed up. It was only on the first day when their systems went down that I called up and asked how long they would be down that I was told I had to wait for it to come back online which wasn't an issue but they made a slight joke about me needing to get used to the waiting of system as this is what I would have to do between units. When I questioned this I was told I would have to wait 6-8 weeks on some units until I could progress. This was certainly not my plan nor explained to me. I expressed to the dept manager I felt like I was mis-sold the course and cancelled down my agreement. I cant fault the support team r.e. cancellation and refund but it does need to be vocalised at point of interest you cannot go through course at a quicker pace should you wish to do so. I cant comment on system as I didn't get that far.
